Our symphonic choir did this... eight years ago now(? ... yes. 2014). I really wish we had a video of them performing it. As lovely as this one is, the memories would be nice to be able to revisit visually and not just in my head as I listen to & watch this [beautiful, energetic] performance.
How come so many choir renditions of balleilaka, among all the million Indian songs? These guys and the many other choir performances, it's awesome and thank you! ✌🏽
I watched my high school performance of this, with a much smaller choir, and while it wasn't as good because this is amazing, it was so good. this song is beautiful, and the solo is SO good
one of the best choir performance of ballelekka. keep it up. All the words are almost perfect except one word " marathu poguma ". It should be "marandhu poguma". "Marathu poguma " means - will it become numb " marandhu poguma" means - can we forget. The actor is singing about his child hood days playing near Tamil nadu's main river called kaveri ( also spelled as kaviri) and eating the hand pound rice cultivated along the river. This song talks about cultural scenario of growing up in tamil nadu's villages
This is the first time I'm watching this video. Well done guys. Tamil is very toughest language, but you guys managed to sing this song that too filled with lot of tongue twisters.
ok so im white and I can appreciate this! My choir in California, (United States) is doing this song and it is very difficult to us. There is one person in our of thirty,(or so) choir who is of indian decent, and well... ya you can see our struggle. any indian people with tips for swifter and easier pronunciation?
Actually this is difficult tl for indians too cos there are a lot of languages in india..and this is from tamil nadu where tamil is spoken..I come from the neighbouring state of kerala where malayalam is spoken which is related to tamil than other indian languages but even then I have to practise it to get it right and I dono meaning of most words
the tamil words, the way how its arranged in this song convey emotions, its called IRATTAIKILAVI & ADUKKUTHODAR in Tamil grammar which is 2300 years old atleast which the tamils follow even today. its so poetic and cute the way words are arranged to convey the meaning. in olden days, kings would heavily shower them with riches for such kind of poetic mastery over the language. so artisticc
Wonderful excellent awesome. I keep on listening to you guys. 🎉🎉🎉
